Organisations often use performance coaching as a way of fast-tracking a talented individual.

Performance coaching helps good people get better. The focus is on improved performance in a specific area. The coach does not assume a position of an expert, authority or therapist.

Performance coaching concentrates on one or two aspects of someone's work which they want to take to new heights, for example:

  • leadership skills
  • achieving a set financial target
  • public speaking
  • first 100 days in a new organisation or role
  • improved delegation
  • people management skills
  • returners after maternity leave or illness
The coach provides the support and challenge with the focus on taking action to achieve exceptional results.
